Through ongoing experimentation I am always trying to explore the relationship of color and texture in my work. I am intrigued with the use of different materials and ways in which to push the limits of what they can achieve. However, it is design that remains the most essential element necessary to tie it all together
The discovery of new techniques and materials remain a constant challenge. I am particularly attracted to oxidized metals and the warm, rich colors and surface textures that can be obtained through controlled processes and accidental circumstances.
